Research Portfolio

Headshot

Moin, I am Lea Stöter.

I am a PhD candidate and researcher based in Kassel, Germany, researching knowledge production in socio-technical epistemic systems. With a background in new media and digital culture studies, I explore the intersections of technology and society. I work at the department of Department for Participatory IT Design at Kassel University. I am interested in the interactions between researchers and their digital tools in knowledge production processes. My work focuses on:

  • socio-technical epistemic systems and knowledge co-production
  • algorithm’s and AI’s impact on research practices
  • the datafication and algorithmization of different domains in society and culture
  • the role of expertise and experts on online platforms
